Bridgwater’s High Street reflected the festive season this December as local businesses decorated their shop windows with Christmas displays.
The annual Christmas Shop Window Competition, judged by the Mayor and Mayoress, highlighted the creativity and community involvement of businesses across the town.
After much deliberation, this year’s winner was Victoria Hair and Spa. While the display initially impressed the judges, they were further struck when speaking with Victoria at the presentation, learning that many of the decorations had been reused or handmade, giving the festive scene a strong focus on sustainability.
The judges also gave special mentions to MANE, Alise & Louie, and The Crafty Collective for their wonderfully decorated windows.
Cllr Kathy Pearce, Mayor of Bridgwater said,
“It was a joy to see so many businesses embracing the festive spirit and helping to brighten the town. Every display brought something unique and creative to Bridgwater.”
A huge thank you to all participating businesses for making Bridgwater shine this Christmas.
