Residents are being urged have their say on services provided by Bridgwater Town Council and help it plan for the future.
The Council has today launched a residents’ survey to gain feedback on its services.
Services run by the Council include everything from, parks and open spaces, gully cleaning, cemeteries , allotments, events, Blake Museum, Community Centres and The Bridgwater Arts Centre.
Statutory services like housing, education, waste, highways and recycling are run by Somerset Council, not the town council.
Council Leader Cllr Brian Smedley said,
“Bridgwater Town Council is committed to listening to residents and acting in their best interests. Our residents’ survey will provide valuable feedback on what is important to everyone living in the town and help us to understand what people think of their Council.
“The survey results will also be used to evaluate satisfaction levels with the services the Council provides so that we can continue to make improvements for the benefit of all residents.”
Survey questions cover residents’ thoughts on customer service satisfaction levels when contacting the council to views on how clean and well-maintained facilities are.
The survey runs until 30 May 2025 and is available online Residents Survey
Paper copies of the consultation are available by contacting the Council on 01278 427692 or by calling into the reception area at Bridgwater Town Hall or the ReCreation Community Hub.
