Its half term already! Need to keep the kids busy next week?
The Bridgwater Cultural Partnership have put together a great range of events over half term week on the them of exploring Fairy Tales.
On Wednesday 15th come along to the High Street between 11am-11.45 and 1pm-1.45pm to meet and have a picture with the Snow Queen.
On Thursday 16th Somerset Libraries Bridgwater will be offering lots of Fairy Tale fun including crafts, treasure hunt, and a colouring competition ( Please contact them directly for more info and to check availability.
From the 13th -19th between 5pm -7pm you can pop along to Somerset Film at The Engine Room to view an exhibit of a series of images depicting international fairytales taken from postcards collected by local resident Irena Brezowski. These will be be displayed and illuminated in the Gallery windows.
From the 15th- 19th you can visit Bridgy Gallery Blog at Old Taunton Road to view and enjoy the The fairies and Dragons exhibition which displays creatures of myth and legend from various artists using a wide range of materials. Weds to Thurs 10.20am-6pm, Fri & Sat 11am- 7pm, Sun 11am – 4pm.
Sadly the clay making at the Brick and Tile museum and the Fairy Tale Filmmaking at the Engine Room are completely booked up.
