Bridgwater Town Council is pleased to share that the Friends of Blake Museum recently hosted Blossom in Somerset at their coffee morning on Tuesday 7 October.
The event welcomed over 20 guests, including support workers and adults with learning disabilities, for a morning of social connection.
Blossom in Somerset is a local organisation dedicated to supporting adults with learning disabilities by providing stimulating experiences in safe and welcoming environments.
The Friends of Blake Museum expressed their appreciation for the visit, noting the positive atmosphere and the likelihood of future visits from Blossom in Somerset.
“It was a most enjoyable experience for everyone,” said Stewart Richards on behalf of the Friends. “We’re proud to be a space where all members of the community feel welcome and valued.”
Blake Museum, located in the heart of Bridgwater, is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich heritage of Bridgwater and Somerset. Home to a fascinating collection of artifacts, exhibits, and local historical memorabilia, the museum provides a welcoming space for people of all ages and abilities.
