Somerset County Council and the Clinical Commissioning Group are currently working with a range of partners on a project that hopes to make it easier for people to find help in their local community when they need it.
The project’s vision is to ensure that people have clear and easy access to information and support in Somerset in order to stay healthy and well.
Whether it’s getting help for an older relative, accessing services for children or searching for some health advice, there’s lots of information out there and knowing where to start can be a bit overwhelming. The project wants to make it easier for people to get clear and easy access to the information and support they need, when and how they need it.
In order to help them understand how that can be achieved, they want to hear from people of all ages about how you currently find out what’s available in your local community (e.g., activities, support groups, help for the elderly etc.), as well as what works and what doesn’t.
