An inspiring new, mixed media exhibition created by neurodiverse adults from Bridgwater, Wells and Yeovil opens this March at The Engine Room in Bridgwater. ‘See Me, Hear Me’ celebrates their lives, stories and passions through bold artwork and digital media.
The exhibition is free to view, running from Monday 2 to Thursday 26 March 2026, open 10am – 3.30pm. The exhibition is closed on Tuesdays and weekends.
The artworks were developed during a series of five engaging and creative project sessions. Participants explored fun and accessible digital activities, experimenting with new tools and techniques to create a ‘digital window’ showcasing their personal interests and aspirations.
“We had a fabulous time at the ‘See Me Hear Me’ sessions. Thank you so much to all involved, especially Daniel, we are very much looking forward to the exhibition.” Said Tracy from Blossom, Somerset.
The result is an uplifting and thought-provoking collection that reflects individuality and imagination. See Me, Hear Me is not only an exhibition, it is a platform for expression, visibility and connection, celebrating the diversity and creativity within the local community.
This project was made possible thanks to funding from The National Lottery. Special thanks go to National Lottery players for helping bring this important creative initiative to life.
