The countdown is on!
In just two days, Bridgwater Playday is set to make its debut with a day packed full of free, family-friendly fun for children of all ages.
Taking place on Wednesday 30 July at St Matthews Field, the event is part of the national Playday campaign – the UK’s biggest celebration of children’s right to play.
Running from 10.00am until 3.00pm Bridgwater Playday promises an exciting line-up of activities for all ages, younger children can enjoy Jolly Babies, Messy Play, face painting, circus skills, and inflatables, while older children and thrill-seekers can test their skills on the climbing wall (no open toe shoes allowed for climbing), Segways, surf simulator, rodeo bull, axe throwing, and archery.
Best of all, everything is free – giving local families a chance to enjoy a day out together without worrying about cost.
