ReCreation, Hamp – a new beginning!

Bridgwater Town Council is pleased to announce that it has taken over responsibility for the ReCreation Youth and Community Centre on the Hamp Estate. The Council thanks YMCA Dulverton Group for their assistance for allowing the Council to take over the responsibility to reopen and manage the building for the Hamp community.

We are currently working on some fantastic plans for the building and wish to consult with Hamp residents to seek their views on a range of areas on how the ReCreation Community Hub can provide support to the community and that it becomes a place they can use. We are also seeking the Hamp Community’s views on other matters relating to the Hamp area.

Our Somerset Council colleagues with the One Team will be joining Bridgwater Town Council staff and ward councillors. Pop in and meet us and have a cuppa.
