Cllr G Slocombe

Gill Slocombe

Gill is one of the councillors for the Wyndham Ward and a Somerset councillor for West division. Gill is married to Peter for nearly 54 years, and they have two daughters, two great sons-in-law’s and one brilliant Grandson. Gill was born in Totnes but moved to Bridgwater at 5 months old, so this is my Town.

I first became a Councillor in 1999, elected to Sedgemoor District Council and the former Charter Trustees.

Gill has been the Deputy Leader and Chairman of the former Sedgemoor District Council.

Bridgwater has so much to offer and it’s important that we don’t lose sight of this, with the recent Government funding it’s important that it is used wisely to ensure the whole community benefits. I want to ensure I am part of Bridgwater’s history and its future.
