ReCreation Community Hub, based on Rhode Lane, Bridgwater, TA6 6HZ, is bursting into spring with a brilliant line-up of community events designed to bring people together. With its warm and welcoming atmosphere, ReCreation continues to be a vibrant hub where everyone is invited to get involved, join in and feel part of something positive.
On Saturday 21 March, as part of the Great British Spring Clean, the community will come together for a Spring Clean between 10.30am and 12.30pm. Residents of all ages are encouraged to roll up their sleeves and help refresh the neighbourhood. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet neighbours, enjoy some fresh air and take pride in keeping our local environment looking its best. Refreshments will be available afterwards between 12.30pm and 1.30pm.
Later that afternoon, Pantry volunteers will host a Pantry Jumble Sale from 2.00pm until 4.00pm, offering a fantastic chance to browse for bargains while raising funds for the community pantry.
The spring celebrations continue into April with an Easter Fair on Saturday 4 April from 12.00pm to 3.00pm. Families can look forward to a cheerful mix of stalls, games, treats and seasonal fun, with plenty to enjoy for all ages. Anyone interested in having a stall at the event is warmly invited to get in touch with the Centre Manager at jake.jones@bridgwater‑tc.gov.uk . Stalls are £5 and early booking is recommended.
Alongside this programme of events, ReCreation Community Hub is proud to offer a flexible and welcoming community space available for local groups, classes, clubs, workshops and gatherings. Whether you’re running a new project, hosting a group, or simply looking for a friendly place to bring people together, the hub provides an accessible environment designed to support creativity, wellbeing and community connection.
