Councillor Tim Mander, Chair of the Amenities Committee said,
“We’re pleased to be bringing new planters and benches to Eastover as part of our commitment to improving public spaces across the town. The existing planters have been successfully relocated to Angel Crescent and Clare Street, ensuring they continue to add colour and character to another part of the community.
“The new street furniture has been shaped by feedback from local businesses and residents, including requests for additional seating in Eastover. We believe the new planters and benches will create a more appealing, comfortable and welcoming environment for everyone who uses the area. We look forward to unveiling the improvements very soon.”
