Having secured funding from the Department of Health and Social Care , Bridgwater Town Council have fitted five new defibrillators in locations across Bridgwater.
This initiative helps enhance the safety and well-being of our community by providing accessible life-saving equipment in key locations.
All of the defibs have 24/7 public access.
The new defibrillators have been installed at the following locations:
- Westfield United Reformed Church– West Street, Bridgwater TA6 7EU
- ReCreation Community Hub– Rhode Lane, Bridgwater TA6 6HZ
- The Quantock, Greene King Pub & Carvery– 95 Wembdon Road, Bridgwater TA6 7DP
- The Activity Warehouse – Unit 5 East Quay, Bridgwater, Somerset TA6 4DB
- One Stop– Allen Road, Bridgwater TA6 6YA
These defibrillators will be added to the Defib Finder website https://www.defibfinder.uk/ making it easier for residents and visitors to locate the nearest device in an emergency.
This project is another step towards making Bridgwater a safer place for everyone.
