Bridgwater Town Council is pleased to announce the installation of a brand-new community notice board at the Recreation Community Hub on Hamp.
The notice board is part of a wider effort to This initiative is part of a broader effort to increase community engagement and keep residents up-to-date on local events, services, and opportunities.
The project has been made possible thanks to generous funding from the Hamp Community Association, whose continued commitment plays a vital role in the growth development of the local area.
“We are working hard as a Town Council to support Hamp and ensure residents have access to information about what’s happening in their area,” said Ann-Marie Gould, Community Development Officer. “This notice board is a small but significant step toward improving communication and strengthening community spirit.”
Councillor Leigh Redman, Ward Councillor for Hamp and Secretary of the Hamp Community Association said,
“The new community notice board at the Recreation Community Hub is a fantastic addition to Hamp. It will serve as a central point for residents to stay informed about local events and services, promoting a stronger sense of community. I am so pleased that the Hamp Community Association could support this addition. We are working hard to support Recreation Community hub and the work they are doing to make our community better”
Councillor Liz Leavy, Ward Councillor for Hamp added,
” We are thrilled to see the new community notice board at the Recreation Community Hub and are very grateful to the Hamp Community Association for their generous funding. The Hamp Community Association is working hard to run events for the community, and we hope this will be a great help in publicising their efforts as well as other events in the area.”
