The Big Community Picnic, originally scheduled for Monday 25 August, will now take place on Saturday 30 August 2025, from 12.00midday until 3:00pm in Blake Gardens.
This change has been made to ensure the best possible experience for all attendees.
The event will include live entertainment by Tor Theatre, who will be performing an engaging and family-friendly show designed to delight audiences of all ages.
There will be a limited number of free picnics for children available on the day, while stocks last.
The Big Community Picnic offers an opportunity for people to come together in a relaxed and welcoming setting as the summer holidays draw to a close.
This free event is open to all, and Bridgwater Town Council looks forward to seeing families, friends, and neighbours enjoying a laid-back afternoon in Blake Gardens.
The picnic marks the final event in this year’s summer programme at Blake Gardens, following Tea and Trumpets on 16 August and Living History Day on 23 August.
Each event has been planned to offer something for all residents, and the Big Community Picnic promises to be a relaxed and enjoyable conclusion to the season.
