Bridgwater families are in for a treat this February half-term, with a fantastic programme of free activities and workshops designed to inspire creativity
Running from Monday 16 February to Saturday 21 February 2026, events will take place across multiple venues in the town, offering something for everyone to enjoy.
This initiative is brought to you by the Bridgwater Cultural Partnership and supported by Bridgwater Town Council, dedicated to enriching the town through arts, culture and community collaboration.
Highlights include:
- The Big Draw at Angel Place – a joyful community art experience.
- Creating Radio and Video content – Sedgemoor FM
- Mr Bert’s Super Show – comedy magic and circus fun for under 10s.
- Creative Family Music Sessions – musical workshops for all ages.
- LEGO® Workshops with The BRICK People.
- Play in a Day with Somerset Youth Theatre – create a spooky play inspired by Bridgwater’s history.
- Ceramic Painting at Mingle Café.
- Glow & Tell at The Engine Room – hidden art with UV pens.
- Printing & Painting at Bridgy Gallery.
- Circus Skills Workshops and Brick & Tile Museum Play Day.
All activities are free, however some requiring booking as places are limited.

Councillor Irena Hubble, speaking on behalf of Bridgwater Town Council said,

It’s a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages, explore their creativity and celebrate the vibrant culture of Bridgwater. We encourage everyone to get involved and make the most of these fantastic events.”
