Bridgwater Town Council is excited to announce the launch of ‘Bridgwater Here and Now’ — a new website dedicated to showcasing the town’s venues, events, dining spots, and places to shop.
This initiative is funded by the Bridgwater Town Deal and is intended to be a legacy project from the ‘Animating the Town Centre’ programme.
‘Bridgwater Here and Now’ aims to be the ultimate online resource for both residents and visitors, offering a comprehensive directory of local venues, shops, and eateries. This makes it easier for users to discover and support local businesses.
By signing up, local businesses, venues, and community groups can create a profile, list their services, and enhance their visibility among residents and visitors alike. This initiative is designed to cultivate a stronger, more connected community while promoting Bridgwater as a vibrant cultural hub and tourist destination.
Events can be added to the live clash calendar, ensuring better planning and bigger turnouts for everyone. Additionally, there is a Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61572795014777 ) where events can be publicised, further enhancing visibility and engagement.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to Bridgwater’s thriving cultural scene while attracting more customers and attendees.
Jeremy James, Events and Outreach Officer for Bridgwater Town Deal, said,
“’Bridgwater Here and Now’ is more than just a website; it’s a celebration of Bridgwater’s unique character and community spirit. We invite everyone to join us in this exciting venture, discover new places, attend local events, and support our businesses. Together, we can make Bridgwater an even more vibrant and welcoming place for all.”
