Do you use buses in and around Bridgwater? Do you want to see better services, clearer timetables and more support for public transport in Bridgwater?
The Bridgwater Bus Improvement Group is inviting residents to come together and help re-establish the Bridgwater Bus Users’ Group, a space for passengers to share their experiences, raise concerns and work collaboratively to improve local bus services.
Whether you’re a daily commuter, an occasional rider or someone passionate about sustainable transport, your voice matters.
The group is looking for individuals who want to:
- Help improve bus services in the Bridgwater area
- Share experiences and identify problems with current routes and timetables
- Support outreach efforts to encourage more people to use buses
Cllr Tim Mander, speaking on behalf of Bridgwater Town Council, said,
“It’s important that bus users in Bridgwater have a voice and Bridgwater Town Council encourages residents to attend and participate in a newly formed bus users group.
“The Town Council’s Transport Forum promotes all forms of transport across the town, with buses being an essential part of the movement of residents.”
An informal community meeting will take place on Wednesday 24 September at 7.00pm in the Mike Hodge Community room at Bridgwater railway station.
