Members of the public are invited to join Bridgwater Town Council on Thursday 1 May 2025 at 7.00pm in the Town Hall for the Annual Town Meeting.
Hosted by Bridgwater Town Mayor, Cllr Jacqui Solomon, this meeting offers an open forum for the community to discuss various aspects of the town.
Following last year’s success, the town’s collection of silver, some pieces dating back 400 years, will be on display.
There will be guest speakers and some of the local organisations and charities that have received grants over the past year will share their invaluable work.
The annual presentation of the Bridgwater Cup will also form part of the evening. The Bridgwater Cup recognises outstanding contributions to the community by an individual or organisation. The award celebrates those who have made a significant positive impact on the town.
There will also be an open forum for questions from Bridgwater residents. Please email questions in advance to [email protected] for the best possible answers, especially on financial matters.
This is an annual statutory public meeting for the local government electors of Bridgwater. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start and all are most welcome to attend.
