Upgrade to play area, Chamberlin Avenue
Works have just started on rejuvenate a play area at Chamberlin Avenue in Sydenham, so that means that the play area is currently out of use. An adjacent garage area and a very small section of the play area is to be redeveloped for affordable housing. In return, £40,000 is being spent to upgrade the play facilities.
The old equipment has been taken away, and it is hoped that the new play area will be ready in about four weeks’ time.
