New Defibrillator at Nisa Shop, Dunkery Road
Bridgwater Town Council has funded a new defibrillator at the Nisa shop on Dunkery Road. The funding came from the Town Council’s Ward Grants pot. Cllr Gill Slocombe and Cllr Rachael Lilley who represent the Wyndham Ward on the Town Council decided to use their ward grant to support this vital project.
Cllrs’ Slocombe and Lilley were contacted by resident Martin Priddis of Woodbury Rd, to see if there was funding available to get this most important piece of equipment for our community. It has taken nearly three years but we managed it in the end with the help of Richard in the Dunkery road shop and with the installation undertaken by Robson Electrics.
The Town Council contributed £1,000 towards the defibrillator, with Richard, owner of the Nisa shop providing the rest of the funding.
