We are pleased to announce that Bridgwater Town Council are now able to take donations for Mr Fixy – the repair and reuse initiative for Somerset Waste Partnership.
This Repair and Reuse initiative was launched by SWPÂ in May 2022 and the Mr Fixy van, whose name was chosen by public vote, drives around the county, collecting donations, supporting community repair cafes and attending local events.
Recycling is great, but repair and reuse is even better: it is easy, saves money and helps save the planet. This is about loving your stuff for longer – if it has a plug or takes batteries, Fixy wants to help give it new lease of life.
All donated tech items are repaired, with all data wiped and then donated to local schools and groups.
