This summer Bridgwater is set to bloom with an array of planting by Bridgwater Town Councils’ Open Spaces Team.
A mix of perennial plants and shrubs such as salvias, lavender, hypericums, hydrangeas, and heuchera and nearly 1600 annual bedding plants including petunias, primroses and pansies have been planted across the town along with 32 hanging baskets, 3 flower towers and 33 planters throughout Bridgwater.
As well as brightening up the town, plants have been chosen to provide a source of nectar for bees and other pollinating insects and provide the maximum floral impact for the longest period.
