Play with Clay – Make a bee game at the Brick & Tile Museum

Play With Clay: Bees

Bumblebees, mason bees, mining bees. How many bees can you name? Buzzing from flower-to-flower bees collect nectar and pollen as food. But did you know that only the honeybee can turn nectar into honey.

We are celebrating these perfect pollinators with a summer ‘Play With Clay’ activity. Join us for bee-themed activities perfect for all lovers of these buzzy garden friends.

Make A Bee Game

Make your own clay bee game. Use clay to make a bee and wild-flowers game inspired by noughts and crosses!

The game will be ready for collection once it has been fired, approximately 3 weeks after the event.

You can paint your new game once fired. You can do this at home or join us at the museum on Tuesday 30 August, £1 –  opens in a new windowBook your space to paint your game.  (Separate booking required for painting)
