FREE Author Talk with Richard Cooper-Knight: The Commonwealth War Graves of Somerset

Friday 17 November 5.00 to 6.30 pm.

Richard’s Talk will be based on his ‘Death & Service’ series of books, which were inspired by his joint passions for photography and genealogy.  There are over 800 WWI graves in Somerset, more than forty of which are in Bridgwater, and Richard’s books shed light on the servicemen and women behind the names on some of these headstones.  Come along and hear the stories of family and of tragedy, stories of life on the battlefield and of love on the home front.
