‘Our Annual Regatta on Sunday 16th July is taking shape, with lots of things scheduled to make it a super day. Please save the date.

This year we are inviting the Instructors and registered volunteers from SYCSA along with all people currently on SYCSA courses to join us. It will be busy, crowded and fun for all ages.

Durleigh and SYCSA guests (parents, friends, and family etc) are also most welcome to join us, but we ask that non-member guests pay £5 per head towards the event.

Initial Programme Timetable for REGATTA

Date: 16th July 2023:

Times: 11am -5pm

Usual Sunday Racing as per the summer series, Race Start 11.00am

Followed by more races, for fun. including DUCK RACE, PICO PADDLE, JIBBERS RACE etc

(these will be explained and organised on the day. All easy to take part in, and great Fun)

BBQ Lunch, 1x each FREE to members of DSC or SYCSA. (donations of salads/desserts/cakes etc MOST WELCOME)

Afternoon will include fun and games, a chance to meet new faces, say hello to old friends whilst the ‘Class of 4’ LIVE BAND playing for us.

Refreshments served all day.

Afternoon – DRAGONFLITE RC racing and “Have a go” sessions with our growing Radio-Controlled section.

I want this to be a great hoorah for the club, a chance to share what makes us a friendly and happy place to be, and to show newcomers what we are all about in an informal and relaxed way. I aim for it all to wind up about 5pm, so plan to make a day of it with us. Get your boat out and take to the water for a bit of fun.
