Location: We will start at the YMCA in Bridgwater and follow the canal towards Bridgwater Docks.

Timings: 9.30am until 11.30am. We aim to start at 9.30am sharp. If you wish to collect litter from the towpath, please arrive at 9.15am so you can collect your litter pickers and bag rings etc. To find out more about towpath volunteering, please visit our volunteer page on our website.

There will be a full briefing for the litter pick at 9.25am – everyone must be present for this.

Additional information:

If you have any litter pickers/gloves and bin bags, please bring them along. However, we do have bin bags, bag hoops and litter pickers for people to use.

Bridgwater and Taunton Canal – IWA Somerset Volunteers will also be supporting us. They will dispose of the rubbish removed from the canal and towpath.

No one is too old or young to join but we do ask that all children are supervised by adults.
