Bridgwater Quayside Festival
Bridgwater Quayside Festival brings an exciting and vibrant programme of Outdoor Arts, local and International Street Theatre, live music, outdoor performances, dance, circus arts, choirs and local groups into the centre of Bridgwater. Blake Gardens, West Quay, East Quay, New Rd-East Over, King Square, Angel Place, Fore St, Blake Statue and venues in the town centre will be open offering an array of fabulous interactive activities and arts exhibitions. The festival celebrates Bridgwater historical and popular culture and the great countryside that surrounds it. There will be family activities and performances for everyone. The festival is free to attend but not free to make, please donate on the day or become a festival supporter.
We would like to thank local businesses, Sedgemoor District Council, Bridgwater Town Council and Arts Council England for funding and sponsorship for the Bridgwater Quayside Festival. This is the 4th festival and is a growing regional arts event. The festival is supported by the Bridgwater Cultural Partnership the Bridgwater Arts Centre, Somerset Film – Engine Room, Bridgwater Library, Bridgwater Carnival, Sedgemoor FM, Bridgwater and Taunton College and the Bridgwater Museum.
